3. Get an Open Spot

Granted the weather isn't always on our side – but if you're prepared for whatever the elements might throw at you, then you shouldn't worry too much about getting out into the fresh air.


Just get out there and go for a walk, run, hike, bike – or whatever you can think of! It's amazing how getting a little exercise and some fresh air will keep you energized – and if you share your experiences with others, that's an added bonus.

There's no denying that most of us enjoy drinking, and the temptation when we hit Friday night often has too much of it.


However, the next day you'll probably feel a bit faded and spend most of the day in bed or tending to hangovers – and the day will pass without you doing anything. Therefore, our advice is to make it easier when you drink. Staying away from alcohol can help you relax on the weekends! Never fill the weekend with drunkenness. In Islam, drinking alcohol is forbidden.


5. Share Some 'Your Time'

Rushing around and filling your time with all kinds of activities can be a lot of fun, but it can also be exhausting. You may even feel at some point as if you've gone overboard – and are constantly surrounded by activity and people can definitely take risks on you, both mentally and physically.


So try setting aside some time for yourself, when you can indulge in a book, listen to music, or just relax.


6. Allow Yourself Some Relaxing Time

Weekends are all about having fun, but they can also be a great time to catch up on the things that have been bugging you for some time.


Take advantage of your weekend by adjusting some activities, such as financial problems that you have to solve. Actually doing that will make you feel a lot better, because you will feel as if you have accomplished something during your weekend.


7. Postpone Some Things

There are things to do at any time of the day – not just on weekends. If you manage your time of the week well enough – for example by doing some small chores during your lunch time – then that will leave plenty of time on the weekends to do the things you really want to do.


Doing a little bit of work every day or night of the week can prevent you from having to do it during your precious weekend!


8. Avoid Routine

Our lives get into a rut sometimes, and we do the same old things week after week, weeks out. Often this is because our work forces us into this routine – but on the weekends, you will have time to break it.


Put yourself in a whole new weekend frame of mind by trying something different, accepting invitations, and avoiding thinking about what you usually do on Saturday or Sunday.
